What this policy covers
This policy describes the Velunoq website and the planned first release of One More Cast. The game is currently in development. If we introduce services that change how information is handled, we will update this policy before they are released.
Your game data
Your captain name, progress, collections, equipment, and preferences are saved locally on your device. We do not provide online accounts, cloud saves, or cross-device synchronization, and we do not receive an automatic copy of your saved game. A captain name can be a nickname; it does not need to be your real name.
Motion controls and device features
If you choose motion controls, the game uses supported device motion sensors to control fishing. Sensor readings are processed on the device for gameplay and calibration; they are not sent to Velunoq. You can choose touch controls instead. Sound and haptic feedback are optional settings.
Advertising and payments
The first store release is planned to be free, without advertising, in-app purchases, or subscriptions. We do not include advertising trackers or analytics in this release. Platform providers may separately handle store downloads and diagnostics according to their own settings and policies.
Visiting our website
The website stores your language preference in your browser so it can remember English or Turkish. We do not add advertising cookies or visitor analytics. Our hosting and network providers may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser details, and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. If you access a private preview, its hosting provider may also require sign-in under its own privacy policy.
Registering playtest interest
If you choose to join, we store your email address, chosen language, signup time, and the version of the consent you gave. We use them only to manage One More Cast testing and contact you about test invitations and participation. Signup is optional and does not create a game account or guarantee selection, a test invitation, or access. Velunoq chooses participants according to each test’s needs and emails those selected. Records are stored in our hosting provider’s Cloudflare D1 database; subscriber addresses are not shown publicly or sold. We keep your record while the test list is active, until you withdraw consent, or until it is no longer needed for testing. To leave the list or request deletion, email hello@velunoq.com from the address you registered.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond and resolve your request, and keep it only as needed for that purpose or applicable obligations. Our email provider processes these communications to deliver the service. Please avoid sending sensitive information or full game backups unless needed for a specific support request.
Your choices and deletion
You can change language, controls, sound, and haptics in the game. Resetting progress clears gameplay progress while retaining your captain identity, settings, and cosmetics. Uninstalling the app normally removes local app data, though device backups or restoration features may retain or restore it. Clear the website’s browser storage to remove its language preference. Children and contact
We do not ask children to provide personal information to play, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the game. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the test form or by email, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@velunoq.com.
